Gullo Mask Donation

Gullo Ford Steps Up with Those at the Frontlines

Gullo Ford of Conroe has teamed up with first responders in Montgomery County to donate over 11,000 masks as part of Ford’s initiative to donate 100 million masks to those who need them most. With first responders interacting with over 607,000 residents on a daily basis, Gullo Ford wanted to help ensure their safety for both non-emergency and emergency situations. Gullo Ford was able to help supply personal protective equipment for both the Montgomery County Fire Association and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Cadet and Citizens Academy. These non-profit organizations have helped support our effort in making health and safety priority one in our shared community!

What Is Ford PPE Day?

Last year, Ford pledged to distribute 100 million masks (personal protective equipment) to at-risk communities and personnel throughout the country. Through a partnership with the Ford Motor Company Fund, Ford has secured additional masks to increase this total to 120 million to be donated by mid-2021.

Since August of 2020, more than 66 million masks have been distributed to non-profit organizations, state and local officials, first responders, schools, community groups and Ford dealership across the country. Project Apollo was launched by Ford last year, creating a special team of engineers and Unit Auto Workers members who created personal protective equipment for first responders and healthcare workers fighting COVID-19.
