That said, the Raptor only makes up to 15 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Choose a standard Ford F-150 to make up to 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, depending on the powertrain you choose.

• Max Payload Rating: Up to a best-in-class 3,270 pounds with the Ford F-150 vs. 1,200 pounds with the Raptor.

The 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor isn’t as good at towing or carrying cargo between The Woodlands and Spring, but that’s only because it focuses more on backcountry performance.
