Meet Tyvonn Byars, Sophomore Running Back at Lake Creek High School, an outstanding high school student athlete, and the Class 5A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week for Week 11!

“Sophomore, Tyvonn Byars was the Class 5A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week for Week 11, leading the
 Lions to a victory over Brenham with 356 yards and 4 touchdowns. That victory secured the district championship and rounded up the undefeated regular season for our Lions.
Gullo Ford is proud to award Lake Creek High School Sophomore Running Back for the 2021-2022 season, Tyvonne Byars this award.

Lake Creek high school head coach Kennedy says, “He’s durable, fast, a hard runner, and he can catch the ball out of the backfield. He’s a defensive coach’s nightmare. For the year, he has 1,947 yards and 32 TDs. An A-B student, Tyvonn is an awesome kid and awesome teammate. The kids love him, and he’s a great kid to have on your team.”

Coach also mentions that Tyvonn is “the best player in the school’s five-year history and one of the five best players that he’s seen in his 30-year coaching career.”
